Artwork Description
Artist Bio
I am an Australian contemporary artist. I have always loved art and creating but only started taking my art practices seriously when I moved to the UK and began exhibiting my work in a small galleries in Glasgow. Upon returning to Australia I started selling my work again through an online gallery and have built up quite a number of collectors throughout Australia.
I was born in Sydney and grew up in the beautiful Blue Mountains. Now I'm based on the mid north coast of New South Wales where I am never at a loss for ideas or inspiration to paint...being surrounded by beautiful national parks and beaches. I love to work with acrylic or mixed media or paper or canvas and also love the unpredictable abstract nature of resin art. My work ranges from abstracted botanicals and still life and non objective pieces exploring colour and emotion. I have been interested in art, in colour, in design, in making a mess, since I was little. The best part of story books were always the pictures. From drawing in the sand, to drawing in chalk on the driveway art has always been a constant in my life in one form or another.
I have sold my work to various corporate businesses such as Blackmores Australia, the A2 milk company, aged care facilities and Australian celebrity collectors as well as the general public...both in Australia and overseas.
