Artwork Description

Dancing in the Moonlight by Desley Wilson
A serene moonlit seascape framed by tall trees, with distant hills lining the horizon.
In the foreground, thick undergrowth glows softly in the moonlight, where two hares dance and play.
The full moon hangs between the tree trunks, its light reflecting across the calm water.
Painted in soft blues, greys and whites, the scene evokes a quiet, dreamlike atmosphere of stillness and enchantment. Spiritually, the hare symbolizes fertility, new beginnings and transformation. Linked to spring, the moon, intuition and abundance .

The painting continues around the sides of the canvas
Comes with a Certificate of Authenticity
Signed on the front and the back
Two coats of satin varnish

Desley has always been captivated by art.
Growing up in the vibrant rural landscapes of Australia, she developed a deep love for the natural world, which now inspires her lively acrylic paintings.
Desley's work features bold textures and vibrant colours, capturing the essence of landscapes, seascapes abstracts and floral scenes.
She's known for her large, impressionist-style pieces that showcase her unique way of seeing the world.
Influenced initially by her mother and later by the energetic works of Vincent van Gogh.
Desley's art reflects her fascination with the changing seasons and the beauty of the land.
While her paintings mainly find homes in Australia, she's also delighted to have her work in private collections across England, Japan, America and Tasmania.
As a self-taught artist, Desley loves experimenting with palette knives and brushed to bring her textured creations to life.
For her, every day is an opportunity to celebrate the ever-changing beauty of nature!
