Artwork Description

Acrylic on canvas, stretched and ready to hang.

Signed on the front.

I am in awe of high country: the history, the geology, the force of nature that created rugged mountain ranges, where we as humans are belittled.
And the cross, mounted on high... is it that we are close to God: or is it that we are blessed to step foot on this turf?

The majesty is undeniable.

This piece evolved intuitively, and is inspired by my love of colour and nature. When I paint, it’s about the now: it is exhilarating to be in the mode of creating. I typically have no plan other than putting paint to canvas and responding intuitively to what evolves. I thrive on that freedom – perhaps it’s my rebellious nature, after years of toeing the line… school, Uni, getting a ‘real’ job!
My art is my escape: there are no rules, no rights or wrongs.
There’s just me, the paint, and the canvas.

This piece is painted with professional artist quality paint, on professional grade canvas stretched over quality frame, and finished with a light varnish for protection.
All edges are gallery wrapped, so artwork can hang without frame if desired.

In situ artwork scale is approximate.

If this piece ticks all the boxes but isn't quite the right size, FINE ART REPRODUCTIONS are available. Just ask!

Gorgeous luscious oranges and white orange blossoms are dotted across the triptych.a path leads through spring growth in the outback, with flowering trees against red ochre rock and sunset tinged sky.Scattered native red yellow orange flowers including banksias, grevilleas, gum blossoms and wattle on a crisp fresh white/golden backdrop. Pink roses cascade on a sea of soft greens, punctuated with delicate white highlights, on a sky blue background.
