This piece was inspired by my love of street art and Tom Waits' musical wisdom. Whimsical Tom Waits portrait.
If you are feeling stuck in your own artistic pursuits, just remember what Tom Waits said - get behind the mule and keep on pushing! And maybe, just maybe, my painting will serve as a visual reminder to do just that. Or, you know, it could just look really cool on your wall. Either way, I'm happy with the outcome!
