Artist Bio
I am a painter living on the Sunshine Coast, Australia. I love being immersed in nature and draw inspiration from my coastal and bush surroundings. I am especially fascinated by the flux of sunlit patterns on water and foliage in local and hinterland streams and creeks.
I have been awarded a Bachelor of Fine Arts, Diploma of Education and a Graduate Diploma of Art and Design. I enjoy the challenge of working overseas with other international artists and have undertaken recent art residencies in Beijing, Paris and Berlin. I have exhibited in many solo shows and group exhibitions. My work is held in public and private collections throughout Australia and overseas in London, France, Berlin and Hong Kong. Five of my paintings were selected to appear on season 13 of Selling Houses Australia.
Dianne's paintings explore the beauty and fragility of tiny moments that can often go unnoticed. The flux of sunlit patterns on water and foliage in rivulets and creek beds are her inspiration. Mostly painting with oils she works abstractly to reinterpret natureβs patterns, rhythms and colours.
