Agapanthus Seed Head With Citrus and Monstera

A stem of Agapanthus that was part of a bunch harvested from the roadside as it was going to seed. The pods are as beautiful as the flowers and look like little green jewels. An Echeveria sits to the side in a specimen bottle and two orange quarters were added for a pop of colour.

This painting is textured in places with visible brush strokes throughout and will look beautiful anywhere from a dark wall to a white room.

Drawing inspiration from her garden and the beautiful surrounds, she has a particular passion for representing house plants, flowers and treasures from her various collections. 'I find inspiration everywhere and am influenced by nature, my garden, and the changing seasons. I find there is beauty in every stage of the life cycle, whether it be the closed bud of a flower, a deteriorated sea shell or an autumn leaf. My main challenge being that time is limited and of all my ideas, only some will find their way to paper! My art practice is my meditation, my connection to the earth, to my family, and at times it is all encompassing in the most beautiful of ways'.
