Just when I thought the critters in my garden had devoured all my harvest I discovered that the netting over my Conference Pear had mostly worked and there was a small untouched harvest ready to pick. In celebration here is one particularly interesting fruit, resulting from the way the pear warped at the top where the stem connected it to the tree. Here the pear is in good company with lemon wedges from a lemon tree that the inhabitants of my garden tend to leave alone!
This piece is painted using Australian made, artist quality paints, and is beautifully textured.
