A little while ago I saw this acacia flowering in Chum Creek (Victoria). It was stunning, and as with most plants I fall in love with, I went to the local native nursery and bought myself the tree. This bunch is one of the first large collections of blooms I have been able to harvest from the tree (the smell is beyond divine). Here the blooms are posing with my best friend's teapot and a KPM Polish porcelain teacup I inherited from my Babcia (Grandma).

Artist Bio
Dominika is an artist living in the Yarra Valley. Drawing inspiration from her garden and the beautiful surrounds, she has a particular passion for representing house plants, flowers and treasures from her various collections. 'I find inspiration everywhere and am influenced by nature, my garden, and the changing seasons. I find there is beauty in every stage of the life cycle, whether it be the closed bud of a flower, a deteriorated sea shell or an autumn leaf. My main challenge being that time is limited and of all my ideas, only some will find their way to paper! My art practice is my meditation, my connection to the earth, to my family, and at times it is all encompassing in the most beautiful of ways'.
