The location of this painting is the ocean facing cliffs of Dover Heights near the south head of Sydney Harbour. The facetious title refers to an infamous adjacent bay known as “The Gap“. Despite that, with cliff top walks and views, it is a strikingly beautiful part of Sydney. inspiring me to commit it to canvas.
