Throughout Morocco, along roadsides and on the horizon, piles of rocks are visible... they mark boundaries, show that you're on the right path but they are also left at homes as a 'calling card' by friends and family that visit while you're away. Each person has their own unique style when they create these, so it's evident who has been. They say "I was here but you were not".

Artwork Description
Artist Bio
I am an artist, educator and member of Duck n Weave Artist Collective in Adelaide, South Australia. My work includes sculpture, acrylic painting, drawing and stitched pieces.
At the heart of my art practice is retrospection and memory. Much of my work contains narrative snippets, recalling experiences and (sometimes blurred) recollections. My work often relates to places, artifacts and animals with deep personal meaning.
