Large rainforest fig tree with thick vines coming down from the top of the tree. One third of painting is of Fan palms starting at top of painting going down the page . Three peacocks painted in turquoise and green with gold leaf on tails. Real skeleton leaves at the bottom of the painting. Background of painting is off white with splashes of pale watercolour green. Tiny red mushrooms are painted on the skeleton leaves. The curtain fig trees of the rainforest are my inspiration for this painting. We have some beautiful rainforests in Australia and I enjoy sharing the beauty of a rainforest to others through my paintings. In some of my rainforest paintings I love to put in peacocks. Their colours are so vibrant and why not, that is why I have called this painting "My World."
This artwork is framed in a gold frame but in the display photos of the artwork it is in a white frame. My World is available unframed if you prefer to have a different colour frame. Send a message if you would like this option.

At the bottom of the painting there are some real skeleton leaves from the rainforest floor, which I have then painted small red mushrooms. The peacocks have some gold leaf on their feathers as well, which you can't really see in the photo. There is a quote also written in pencil on the painting.
