Most of my paintings reflect memories of spending time with my family, and Byron Bay was a place we went to a few times with our children. I took photos of Tallows Beach down from the lighthouse over looking the beach. The colours were amazing and I wanted to capture that in my painting.
I have used professional artist quality oil paints on linen which was wonderful to paint on because of the texture.
