In this piece, titled "Black Peony Goldfish," I combined traditional oil painting techniques with ink splashing to create a unique aesthetic. By meticulously layering yellow and black, I brought out intricate details within a simple form, allowing the golden scales to shimmer against the background. Additionally, the piece is edged with gold leaf, adding a touch of classical elegance to this adorable goldfish artwork.
