Artwork Description

Ocean flowing into a bedroom ,

The ocean is the beginning of life on Earth, and symbolizes formlessness, the unfathomable, and chaos. The ocean can also be seen as a symbol of stability, as it can exist largely unchanged for centuries.
Inspired by Dali , surrealist artists and my own dreams

Artist Bio

I make surrealist works that pull the human figure through myth, anatomy, and dream. Genesis and creation, flesh formed from formless matter, the body as both subject and symbol β€” these are the threads I keep returning to, filtered through Greek and biblical myth and the visual grammar of DalΓ, Magritte and the Symbolists.
My recent series treat the body as porcelain: the Delft Blue Anatomical works fuse the cobalt-and-white elegance of 17th-century Dutch Delftware with anatomical precision, a deliberate tension between fragility and structure. Other series β€” Soulscape, Ocean Colossus, Ex Nihilo β€” move the same preoccupations into landscapes of the mind, where the vastness of the ocean meets the confines of the skull.
I work primarily in digital media, printed on wrap-around canvas, in strictly limited editions. Every piece is a visual narrative β€” a fleeting moment or an elusive emotion, held still. Based in Australia. Currently accepting commissions.
