Heavy Clouds Rich Landscape

This is a large canvas at just over a metre wide. An Australian landscape developed mostly in my imagination. But I was also thinking of someone else, and I'm not sure who? Kadinsky? Cezanne? I have a painting in my head but I don't know whose work it is.
Thick slabs of paint combine with thin washes to create an evocative scene looking over the vast flatness of the Australian landscape.
