An alternate view point of the Nighthawk pose. Here we see her peering into the void. A reoccurring thought that strikes her late at night—an overdue task, a nagging guilt, a looming and shapeless future—that circles high overhead during the day, that pecks at the back of her mind while she tries to sleep. She ignores it for weeks - successfully - only to feel its presence hovering outside the window, waiting for her to finish your coffee, passing the time by quietly building a nest (description adapted from the Dictionary of Obscure Sorrows) .
Neutral tones and colours - black, greys, blues, pinks, purples, and ochres. The sides are painted black. This painting has a wire across the back and is ready to hang.
