I am forever an adventurer when it comes to my art practice. I love nothing better than going down a deep rabbit hole, and seeing what emerges. I have constant new ideas, and probably struggle to actually keep painting the same thing or theme.
Having said all that though, I really love this new body of work that is coming through. It feels peaceful, tranquil, and instead of layered surfaces in 'hidden gems' and 'love on the spectrum' (which was the first two works in this new series), "Shepards delight' is a more ambitious landscape for me, with many subtle colour shifts and marks in the mountains. with lovely flowing lines and shapes, almost like a luna dream scape somewhere...
