This is one of my favourite paintings, created on a whim. It is an ode' to my $10 Tasmanian Oak ladder which I purchase about 15 years ago from a garage sale. With a few dowl's added to support a little shelf, it's the best easel ever! Covered in many years of painters marks, and it gets better and better with age. This painting is a love story to that ladder!
