Misty Mountain Ranges

I love the dramatic, jagged lines that appear over the landscape when a mountain range has formed and at no time is this more beautiful and striking than in the early morning when there is a thick, opaque fog settling in between the peaks.
My artwork depicts this moment in time when the sun has just risen to reveal dense fog which barely lets the mountain tops escape.
The fog and the gradual changes in tone create a lovely depth to the landscape and I find the colours have a calming effect.

To create this artwork, I used quality acrylic paint on a stretched thick-profile canvas. In addition, I have coated the painting in a waterproof satin varnish. This ensures protection for the artwork over time.
And finally, for convenience, I package and ship my artworks ready to hang.

My artworks capture the world around us, with a bit of a twist. Painting is an awesome escape for me.
