Perfect Timing

This artwork was inspired by my fascination of the Universe and deep space. To me, there is hardly anything more beautiful than the night sky when it’s covered with stars, especially when the Milky Way is visible.
My other great obsession is sunsets, I love the way they start off slow and then quickly speed up until the sun dips out of view and leaves a beautiful, colourful glow across the sky.
My artwork captures that exact moment when the sun has disappeared and yet it’s beautiful glow remains.
The Milky Way then appears and lights up the sky in a spectacular and mesmerising way.

My artworks capture the world around us, with a bit of a twist. Painting is an awesome escape for me. I primarily work with acrylics on canvas but also like to experiment with new mediums.My curiosity is ignited by the detail I see in the world around us. Our surroundings, whether drawn by nature or created by human hand, have the power to take our minds on a journey. In my artworks I seek to capture a new perspective on my subjects by looking beyond purely physical dimensions, to blend the boundaries of reality and imagination.
