Beautiful Blue II

Stunning superb fairy wrens dominate my garden all year round. Their constant twitter and trill delights the senses, and their incredible iridescent blue plumage is the most delightful thing to watch.

There should be no surprise that these tiny creatures find themselves modelling so often for my paintings.

I have painted this striking male using professional artist oil paint.

I have included some 'In situ' photos, which help us imagine art in our home. Feel free to reach out with pictures of your own space and I can virtually hang the painting for you. In situ photos provided here were created using various apps and may not be perfectly to scale. Photos depicting framed art are for illustrative purposes for your interest and consideration.

While this painting would look best framed, it’s not absolutely necessary. The sides of the artwork have been painted pale pink-grey.
