There's no end to the beauty of central Australia: parched rust-stained land, starved & twisted gum trees, and forever blue skies.
My painting "Red Bluff" pays homage to the land which waits for 'The Wet' and manages to thrive on very little while it waits.
Painted predominantly with a palette knife, and loads and loads of layering, the result is a colourful and bold painting with plenty to look at. The closer you look, the more there is to see. It will no doubt brighten any room and be a wonderful talking point for all observers. And believe me, the photo does not do this painting justice!
