I live rurally, and often traverse the highway to suburbia or city. Miles and miles of country roads flanked by paddocks and farms are such a feast for my eyes. I absolutely love seeing the colours of the landscape change as we return home, away from the hustle and bustle, where the simple sight of trees, grass and sky make me smile with pleasure.
The edges of this artwork are painted as wrap around so it is beautiful from every angle, and external framing is purely optional. The colours are soft yet striking, and the painting has been created without regard for pure representation. It is intended, instead, to be more about colour, shape, space, and light. I have also included photos of my other works in my studio - my little space inside a warm and comfortable tin shed, where all of my creations come to life and where I spend most days.
