I have been thoroughly entertained by the cattle which reside in the paddocks around my home in central Victoria. Their constant noise, their hilarious conversation, reminds me of my younger years, where the lads would 'strut their stuff' with careful aloof character, attempting to impress young women at the many parties I attended in my youth in rural Victoria.

The title "Friday Night on the Farm" aims to tell a story; a whimsical chapter of a larger tale, and is intended to invoke smiles and hopefully even laughter.

I have been a full time career artist for 3 years, and have enjoyed seeing almost 300 paintings find their home in that time. My portfolio is eclectic and I paint with numerous styles and colour palettes, but I always harness my love for the Aussie landscape and use that connection when I paint. I often paint outdoors on location and allow the weather or time of day to dictate the mood or temperature of my art.

In many of my artworks you see in my portfolio, a photo in my studio of my “work in progress” will hopefully give you a little insight into my process.
