Bluethumb “Rising Star” Artist and finalist in the 2021 Bluethumb Art Prize
Another painting in my series of gum leaves painted on linen, featuring a table linen and vase. Here I wanted to draw on the pinks in the leaves, which I used in the gingham pattern. Overall this is a small painting with plenty to look at - the colours are both earthy and cheerful.
The linen has been primed in transparent sealer and is the perfect background, revealing its beautiful natural weave.
I have included photos of this artwork installed into a room with furniture. In situ photos were created using various apps and may not be perfectly to scale but should give you an idea of how your beautiful new artwork might look.
