Artwork Description

Artwork signed on the front.
Bluethumb “Rising Star” Artist.

Our stunning indigenous landscape never fails to inspire. During my extensive travels through central Australia in 2011 and 2012, I was breathtaken by the gorges, river beds, mountain ranges, and vast expanse of our beautiful Northern Territory.

This artwork has been painted on loose canvas and so it can be stretched by your local framer, or by Bluethumb’s convenient and popular framing service (if you use Bluethumb's service, the painting will go straight from my studio to the framer, and then delivered to your door).

It is vivid in colour and full of life - every tree has been individually painted with a fine brush (and love).

The actual size of the painting is much larger than you see here, to take into account the wrapping around stretcher bars. Feel free to request some photos! The actual canvas measures approx 215cm x 140cm. I expect the stretched size to be around 200cm x 124cm. Please be aware that the slight "ridge" you might see in the photos running down the middle of the painting WILL BE STRETCHED OUT by the framer - it is there because of the join in panels on the wall behind (refer photo #3) and is not really a ridge per se. Feel free to ask me questions about this, or anything!

The edges of the canvases will wrap around, so the composition starts to emerge as you approach from any angle and external framing is purely optional.

I have included photos of Larapinta Country installed into a room with furniture. In situ photos were created using various apps and may not be perfectly to scale but should give you an idea of how your artwork might look. Where provided, pictures depicting framed art are illustrative only - just to give you an idea of how a beautiful timber frame might enhance the look of your painting.

If you are based in Victoria, you may like to see my paintings in person before making your purchase - I am located near the beautiful Trawool Estate (approx 90 minutes north of Melbourne) and often arrange to meet collectors there to show off my art. Just send me a message to arrange a suitable viewing time.

It is ready to be shipped and looking for a home with a lovely large wall begging for colour.

I have been a full time career artist for 3 years, and have enjoyed seeing almost 300 paintings find their home in that time. My portfolio is eclectic and I paint with numerous styles and colour palettes, but I always harness my love for the Aussie landscape and use that connection when I paint. I often paint outdoors on location and allow the weather or time of day to dictate the mood or temperature of my art. In many of my artworks you see here, a photo of me and my “work in progress” will hopefully give you a little insight into my process.

I love hearing from collectors! Feel free to click “Contact Eve” below, and I’ll be happy to answer questions and provide more photos 😁

Best,
Eve x

Artist Bio

I am a visual artist and painter whose love and passion for the Australian landscape has resonated with collectors for many years.

My little studio is nestled into the bush in central Victoria, surrounded by gum trees and a noisy population of birds, and overlooks the mountains and pasture adjacent to the Goulburn River.

Although now retired, assuming that is possible for someone creative, my journey continues, and a small selection of work will be made available at very affordable prices. Your purchase helps me buy art supplies and supports my creative journey. Thank you x
