THE INSPIRATION
Living in rural Australia, these ancient giants own the land.
My latest painting, "Mauve Breeze, Subtle" celebrates the beauty of our native eucalyptus gum trees; featuring leaves, gum nuts and flowers in natural neutral tones against a speckled grey/mauve sky. Only 2 colours were used (red and yellow ochre) along with black and white, and the brushstrokes are loose and free. The result is a subtle, flowing composition of branches and foliage with confetti flecks, all in pleasant soft colours (including grey, grey-pink, mauve, red-brown and olive green) which would look fabulous in your home office, lounge room or bedroom.

FRAMING
It would look great framed, however this is not absolutely necessary as the painting is stretched over an internal frame and therefore is ready to hang, right out of the box.

My paintings are treated with the greatest care throughout their life in my studio and home, or at exhibitions where they may temporarily hang. Your artwork will be carefully wrapped in bubble-wrap and sturdy cardboard. Bubble wrap can be recycled at most supermarkets.
