THE INSPIRATION
When travelling along the northern reaches of the Northern Territory and Western Australia, we discovered a small town - Timber Creek, near Kununurra. Trees sprout from between rocks, and the land is a glorious postcard of green and orange.
ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This is an original oil painting, based on photos I took when travelling through the northern regions of Western Australia in 2011 and 2012.
I have adopted a saturated colour palette, by using just 5 tubes of paint (one red, one yellow, one blue, plus black and white), and added layers upon layers to give an enriched and sublime texture and depth.
The sides are painted as wrap around so external framing is entirely optional.
I have included some 'In situ' photos, which help us imagine art in our home. Feel free to reach out with pictures of your own space and I can virtually hang the painting for you. In situ photos provided here were created using various apps and may not be perfectly to scale. Photos depicting framed art are for illustrative purposes, just to give you an idea of how your painting might look in a beautiful timber frame..
I love hearing from collectors! Feel free to click “Contact Eve” for any questions you have - I’ll respond promptly.
Please allow up to 4 days for me to varnish your new artwork, attach d-rings, wire and felt pads, and ensure the sides of the canvas have been painted, before dispatch. If you’d like your art sent to you more quickly, just let me know 😁
Best,
Eve x
