This semi-abstract-semi-realism Australian landscape featuring one of the ridges of Roma Gorge in Northern Territory is colourful, warm and bright. It sits perfectly in this Tassie oak floating frame which enhances the colours and provides perfect clean edges to the scene.
"Over Roma Gorge" has been painted predominantly with a palette knife to provide sharp uneven edges throughout the rocky scene as well as broad brushstrokes creating a fresh, free feel.
I am a prolific artist working full time from my studio in central Victoria, with much of my art being held in private collections around Australia and USA, as well as exhibiting in local galleries and at the Victorian Artists Society in Melbourne.
