Under an Ultramarine Sky

A painting based on a photo I took while at Ormiston Gorge in Northern Territory back in 2011. Here I challenged myself to use only three colours (one each of blue, yellow and red) along with black and white. The result is cohesive and yet striking, with loose expressive brushstrokes and layers.
