Dainty feathery pale pink gum tree flowers and greyish gum leaves with orange and burnt red highlights, set against a light-speckled green-blue background, all feature in this artwork of the beloved Australian gum tree. I adore Australian native trees, and beautiful gum trees like this line the highway near my local town.
It would look great framed, however this is not absolutely necessary as the painting is ready to hang, right out of the box. The edges of the canvas have been painted as “wrap around” which means that if it is hung in a hallway, you will start to see the scene emerge as you approach the art.
The canvas itself is very high quality, with strong stretcher bars, and the cotton canvas is triple primed and quite thick at 380gsm. I only invest in top quality gallery-standard canvases for my art.
