The model was wearing a top hat and I immediately thought of him as a magician. Cinnamon the rabbit (my pet) has escaped from the top hat, but she is hanging around waiting for some attention and (of course) food.

Artist Bio
Evelyn Yee completed her Bachelor of Arts (Honours) at the Victorian College of the Arts (University of Melbourne), Melbourne.
She is a painter who enjoys capturing daily life, and pleinair painting using oil, watercolour and gouache. Painting from life and on location allows her a more intimate connection with her subjects and scenes, and she gets to know the subject and place a bit better. She is often out painting with an easel, either alone or with groups she belongs to e.g. Melbourne Urban Sketchers (a local chapter of an international sketch group; she is a founding member of the group), and pleinair groups.
Evelyn has participated in artist residencies in Australia and Japan, and has exhibited her work in Australia and overseas. She is a member of the Victorian Art Society and the Brighton Art Society. Evelyn was born in Malaysia.
