I started my obsession with art more than 20 years ago. I work primarily with slow drying acrylics which allow me the opportunity to blend like oils but keep my colours very crisp. My first love is portraiture and I’m inspired by the strong women that surround me. I also love the turquoise Queensland waters on my doorstep and the textures and tones of the rugged Hinterland. I love the artistic freedom of expressing myself in my chosen medium and tend to follow my heart in my chosen subject rather than following a trend. I hope in my original art you find something you love and that speaks to you.
