This work registers characteristics of light and shade in confined spaces to hint at a kind of visual claustrophobia, both physically and psychologically.
It is painted on stretched canvas, polymer varnished and ready to hang with wire on D-ring hangers.

It is based on realism with a distortion factor, canvassing aspects of the ordinary and the extraordinary and evoking a sense of the social dynamics and psychological layers of identity and place.
