Pig Pool

This is one of a series of works on paper of swimming pools. Painted in acrylic on 300gsm heavy weight paper, this work requires framing for hanging and is varnished with acrylic polymer for protection. Total paper size is 56cm wide x 38.5cm height. Image size is 30cm wide x 30cm height.

It is based on realism with a distortion factor, canvassing aspects of the ordinary and the extraordinary and evoking a sense of the social dynamics and psychological layers of identity and place.
