In this scene, I was particularly drawn to the beautiful architecture of the building, which is unfortunately contrasted with a range of cheap takeaway food and coffee shops below.
I used a palette knife for the background to create movement and texture, and then overlaid that using intricate hand cut stencil spray paint layers to achieve (perceived) definition.
