Artwork Description

Spray Paint on canvas, stretched and ready to hang.

Signed on the front.

This is a scene based on a photo I took in Brunswick Street in Fitzroy, Melbourne. I love the bohemian vibe of this suburb - there is often something cool or unexpected if you take the time to stop and look.

What I have always loved about stencil artwork is that the detail is not always needed, as the human brain automatically fills in the gaps, therefore engaging the viewer in the painting without realising it. In this series, I have “feathered” the edges of the paintings, like you’re remembering the scene from a dream or memory.
