This piece is one of a new series of 'Mindless Moments', which are a quirky way of expressing the personality of each person, but with an underlying meaning behind the fun.
To me, goldfish are symbolic of lives spent in blissful ignorance- not worried about the past, and certainly not thinking about the future. Despite having access to more information than at anytime in our history, often in the palm of our hands, we can remain trapped in our own small circle of experience and interests.
