With travel off the cards for the foreseeable future, I want to take you to the south of France!
This stencil painting is based on a photo I took from a window of our accommodation in a small town just outside of Arles. I was inspired by the endless terracotta tiles and ancient buildings, contrasted with modern flourishes such as TV antennas and internet cables. There was no woman standing on the balcony, but I want to reflect on the current COVID pandemic issues and how social isolation is a major problem that has touched us all. Hopefully things will get better - with every new day!
