The End Of The Road

'The End Of The Road' is my reaction to the world of big business, whose relentless quest for profits has mankind on the edge of a precipice. To me, goldfish are symbolic of lives spent in blissful ignorance- not worried about the past, and certainly not thinking about the future. Here, the fishbowl heads of the businessmen represent the latter but also symbolise the general population who subconsciously consume everything in their path leaving behind a vast wasteland.

Geoff Cunningham, is a stencil artist based in Melbourne. Cunningham draws inspiration from urban landscapes, travel, and native Australian birds. Based in Melbourne, I blend photography, digital design, hand cut stencils and paint to craft scenes that feel both familiar and a little unexpected. My technique is constant, but my subjects shift—each piece layered with hidden details and quiet stories, inviting you to look closer and feel something deeper.
