"Early Morning Altona" by Geoff Pike was inspired by the atmospheric sky of Port Phillip Bay, Victoria Australia. Texture, shades of colour and balance all play a part in creating my paintings. This artwork was completed with a palette knife using professional oil paint.
My hope is that this painting brings a sense of peace and harmony to the home where it lives, and that it helps the people who live there feel that part of nature is right there in the room with them.
