The tan suede chair

This is part of a series I am painting on big comfy chairs. This still life scene is a bit more of a contemporary setting than normal but still speaks of the comfort of a sitting/reading corner.

After years of working in design I have finally decided to concentrate on my art. A lot of my paintings have quite a graphic element but every now and then I like to change it up a bit. My love of gardens , flowers and interiors are my main inspiration. I work mostly with acrylics on canvas.
