A visit to Matisse's Chapel in France and seeing the amazing stained glass windows flooding the Chapel with brilliant light inspired this oil painting which I called Stained Glass Window. My studio of 23years at Noosa North Shore was home to many birds including Kingfishers. Their deep blue and orange contrasted with the waterlilies on the lake.

This stained Glass window was inspired by Matisse Chapel in France where the sunlight lit up the stained glass and intensified the colours. My love of Nature and Birds - in particular the Kingfishers - contributed to this different painting. Watch my video to see more of my diverse art work.
