Artwork Description

Senevah is another in my reform series of paintings. The series is characterised by geometrical shapes, and architectural form, and contradiction.

Senevah features bright and bold colours, which are counterbalanced by more subtle almost washed out sections. You would be right to assume that Senevah is like looking at a form or structure through a window or a frame.

As with other paintings in the Reform series, contradiction can also be found in the design work. At first glance, it appears neat and ordered, but upon closer inspection, there is a lot of fine lines and detail. The effect is that it draws the viewer into the artwork.

Senevah is an interesting work of art that will create a (subtle?) statement piece in your home or office.

The artwork has been continued over the sides of the canvas which means it can remain without a frame. The painting has been finished off with several layers of matte finish, which creates a gentle and subdues finish. The matte finish really suits this style of artwork, as well as protecting from UV and dust.

I have signed the front of the artwork and it is ready to hang.

Note the images showing the painting mounted on the wall are for illustration purposes only. The correct measurements are provided below. A handy way of determining just how this sized painting will work in your space is to use blue tack dots or masking tape on your wall to plot out the border of the painting. This method gives you a realistic impression of how the painting will fit on your wall
