Sometimes the way out is behind or below you. This theme for this piece was to do with being spellbound - when you feel trapped, it is sometimes feels insurmountable, but when you take a step back, there are answers. The artwork itself is made up of large brown shapes in the background with smaller more colourful shapes in the foreground. Each of the shapes has a top and left hand border, while the right hand and lower edges remain borderless.
The artwork is on a large 100cm X 100cm square cotton canvas which has been stretched over a pine frame. It has painted sides, and has been finished off with several layer of gloss coat. It is ready to hang.
