Artwork Description

‘Full Moon’ was inspired by the nights I go outside and look up at the full moon. The night is still and quiet and I find peace and comfort from looking up at the moon. Sometimes the moon will bring me answers to the unknown in my life. It always brings me the sense that everything is okay, that everything is working out for the best.

I’m a Wangkatha and Ballardong/Wadjuk woman from Western Australia, and I’ve been painting since 2018. Over the years, I’ve developed a contemporary style that’s bright, bold, and deeply personal.

Art has been a healing journey for me. It brings me peace and allows me to express beauty especially during times when I couldn’t always see it around me. Each piece I create is a reflection of that healing process and a celebration of colour, culture, and connection.
