Merry-Go-Round

I've been working with concepts that have a carnival theme. I found a beautiful carousel and that sparked the inspiration for this piece. There is a contradiction I think with Fairs , Carnivals and Circuses. They can be joyful , but can also make you feel lonely. Everything is presented in a happy, overly colourful way but the paint is chipping away and things can seem neglected.
