‘Lyrical gestures’ is a work that went through many versions of composition and forms until a clarity came through the configuration which told me to stop and say ‘it is done’. The expressive power of colour in this piece is emotive rather than analytical and placement of hues with abstract shapes continues my journey searching for a joyous vision.
