My studio is based two hours north of Brisbane in Queensland.
My paintings start with drawings and colour studies in my local landscape and then I build and build the artworks layer by layer based on the colours I have been shown that day. The paintings are immersive and at first the marks are random on the canvas and then slowly the images and colours emerge into the experience I had in the landscape in that season.
