My painting shows a beautiful underwater world, full of life and color. The coral reefs are rising up, providing a home for a variety of fish, from the white stripy ones to the yellow and purple ones. The rays of the sun filter through the surfers of the water, creating a magical and ethereal atmosphere.
As an artist, I am drawn to the beauty and mystery of the ocean. I have always been fascinated by the vibrant colors and patterns found in coral reefs and the diverse and fascinating creatures that call them home. Through my painting, I want to catch the wonder and awe that I feel when I imagine the depths of the ocean.
My hope is that someone will be inspired by the beauty and complexity of the underwater world, and will be moved to take action to protect it for future generations.

Artist Bio

From an early age, I was drawn to creative expression, discovering my passion for art as soon as I could hold a crayon.
I pursued this passion academically, earning a degree in Art Education in Ukraine, which laid the foundation for my artistic and teaching career.
After relocating to Australia in 2002, I continued to develop my practice and actively sought opportunities to exhibit my work.
I have since participated in various art prizes and exhibited in local galleries, while also sharing my knowledge through teaching, both in my home studio and within the school community attended by my children.
For me, art is more than a passion; it is a lifelong journey of exploration, growth, and connection. Through both my creative practice and teaching, I aim to inspire others to experience the joy and transformative power of art. My work has allowed me to engage with audiences locally on the Gold Coast and internationally, reinforcing my belief in creativity as a universal language that enriches lives.
